Show Your Blog Space Day

So... what exactly does your blogging space look like, anyway? You know, the place where you actually sit and blog? Is it an office, a laptop at a coffee shop, some special setup in the hot tub? This is your chance to show the world, by posting a photo of the area on Sunday. I know I will, and now I'm challenging the following bloggers to do the same:

I don't dare post a photo of my workspace ... at least not till I clean it up. :) But you can see my living room, now that I've started doing political humor videos: My Family Needs Me Limerick and Video

You haven't been working in my office, have you? ;-)

I sometimes post from home, but that's even more cluttered than here...so the office it shall be.

My laptop with the WiFi has been toast for a while now, so I have been a little more limited on where I can post from lately. I would post from the backyard, in the summer, or pretty much anywhere around the house. Occasionally from local coffee houses when I had some spare change and wanted a little different scenery.

I'll get a Pic up of my dining room area I post from currently... After I clear the dishes from last night's dinner and clean it up a bit! :)

Great, more homework. Now I have to clean the place up to present it to the world. Throw away the losing lottery tickets, empty Vodka bottles and the deflated inflatable party sheep then run the vacuum and dust. Oh Fug it, it is what it is.

I'll try to post a picture of mine tomorrow. This is a great idea :)

Sounds fun, but I refuse to tidy up my space at all. I guess that's more authentic, but makes for a crappy photo. ;)

It's in flux at the moment; the Alpha Geek is making noises about replacing the docking station with a regular desktop. And at the moment, the laptop that usually docks there is refusing to dock, so it's sitting on the table in front of the TV. And I'm sitting at the diningroom table with my travel laptop. Part of me wonders if having a desktop upstairs is such a good idea, since it puts stairs between me and the kitchen while my knee is taking its sweet time healing. Anyway, trying to keep The Sideshow regularly updated involves a certain amount of never catching up with the tidying up, so... No.

Thanks! BTW, tidiness doesn't count for much in my book - you'll see when I post my space Sunday.

As a matter of fact, I do have some recent pictures of the place where I blog. And it's comparatively neat.

It's an old photo, but the last image in this entry on my blog is of my home office setup. Other blog spaces include sitting on my couch with my laptop, and my office (shhh, don't tell anyone!).

Usually I am not blogging from a small cafe table outdoors under an enormous avocado tree. Yet since I am in St Petersburg, Florida, for several weeks, working on a food history book, this site seems appropriate to a Blog dedicated to all things eclectically food. ( My usual workplace is a messy home office in New Mexico.)
My new workspace is not always tranquil. Acorns from surrounding live oaks hammer down on adjacent sheds and squirrels natter loudly.
If only my new digital camera worked with this traveling laptop, I would enclose a pic. Maybe later, after a huge avocado and grapefruit salad. The adjacent yard has numerous gfruits and friendly neighbors...

I'd send a picture, but honestly, my camera is packed up. As is my blogging space. I'm moving to a new apartment this week, so my blogging space doesn't exist right now. Once I settle, I'll send a picture.

The digital camera is dead, but I'll try to paint a quick mental picture: it's a messy office with stacks of paper two feet high and a bottle of bourbon hidden in the bottom filing cabinet. Behind me are shelves filled with the works of Aristotle, Plato, Kant, and Jane Jacobs and a giant stuffed penguin and a tiny gong.

Occasionally, there's a cat.
