Barbecue Season

The Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Association has some interesting statistics from their new study on recent changes in the industry. The HPBA is an international trade organization for barbecue and patio retailers. Based on a representative sample of more than 8,000, the report revealed that over 60 percent of Americans are grilling year-round and nearly half grill during winter months.

I'm one of them. Are you?

Matt B:
I do. If I get some good steaks I feel like I'm wasting them if I don't grill them over the coals.

And the winters are pretty mild around these parts anyway.

I hope you're a charcoal guy. If you're going to grill over gas, what's the point?

Get a Weber. It's more delicious and it's primal!!

I still have a Weber, but I save it for cooking in more primitive conditions or guests. Heck, for some of our guests, we just throw raw chicken out there.

Lyzurgyk,

Iep, I use a Weber with real charcoaled wood. Used to have to get that at the butcher, but all the stores seem to be carrying it now.
