Here's Amanda and Melissa's big problem now - the paid press wants to pile on the blogosphere. For the press, this isn't about being left or being right, or being wrong or being right. This is about being easily labeled, even though that label isn't appropriate. It's about using red letter labels to tar the blogosphere. It's about payback, for all our complaints and reviews and assessments about how they do their well paid jobs.
Note to every other blogger out there - this is what is coming is you get a paying political gig. The paid scribeocracy is gonna tear into you, especially if other bloggers do their work for them. Anyone notice that this doesn't become a story if bloggers don't push it? That's because the paid scribeocracy doesn't know a story from used toilet paper - which is why they're chasing used toilet paper here instead of a real story.
