Well, I voted

First time with the electronic touchpad voting machines. I can see where a large segment of the Central Pennsylvania population is going to struggle with it. It isn't as intuitive as you would expect - for the amount that it costs, I would think it would be as simple as using a MAC machine, but not really. Plus, someone at the precinct has to join you in the booth to set it up for the proper party ballot, and walk you through the process of voting. I think it will be interesting to read the letters to the editor in the following week to see what complaints burble up... beyond the obvious security ones.

I had the choice in State College between the (1) touch-screen machine, and the paper ballot optical-scan.

I went with the paper machine.

I am also pleased to report that I filed a complaint against Matt Shaner for being too close to the polling location. (He could open the door for you.)

I then went ahead and called the CDT &the local news to meet so they could be there when the election board came to slap the wrist of this Repuglican. His claim to fame is that he worked for Santorum, chaired Toomey's bid to beat Specter, and chaired the Centre region reelection bid for Bush!

He is gross to say the least.

Did you go for Casey, Pennachio, or Sandals?

(If you don't mind my asking!)

Pennachio.

I wish we had a choice of paper and touchscreen.

Over in Pgh, I used the crappiest voting machine ever -- E&SS's iVotomoronic. Fun.

I came to see how Pennachio did, it wasn't at eRobin's place yet, either.

Chuck really had the fire in the belly, but I really hope he comes out and supports Casey now.

I know Casey ain't perfect, but if he can take down Santorum, he's all good to me!
