McDonald's CEO Dies of Heart Attack

From Voice of America

McDonald's Corporation chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim Cantalupo died suddenly Monday of an apparent heart attack in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Cantalupo was a McDonald's executive for 28 years, and was the CEO for the past 15 months. Reports in the business press say he improved McDonald's food and service, helping boost the share price more than 70 percent. He was 60 years old.

Our sympathies to the Cantalupo family. I'm sure there's probably not a phrase that McDonald's would like to be further away from in the news than "sudden fatal heart attack".
