With two posts in the last 40 days, I may have to conclude that PCNBlog is a failure. I'll give them to the end of the year to start posting more regularly, otherwise, I'll pull them from the sidebar and accept that they weren't ready to run with it.

If you're planning on writing a letter to your Pennsylvania State Representative...
Apparently the U.S. Post Office is requiring a new system that assigns every House Member a unique post office box number and zip code based on District Number. In Pennsylvania, every member's post office box number will consist of six digits - district number prefaced by 202. And the last 4 digits of a zip code will be the district number prefaced by a 2. So, if you were from district 100, your address would be:
Representative IDidNotTakeThePayRaise
House Box 202100
Harrisburg, PA 17120-2100
I wonder if this is indicative of the sheer volume of mail each Representative receives, that they get their own zip code? Or is it because Pennsylvania has SO MANY REPRESENTATIVES? Is this happening in every state?

Tradition's fun and everything, but does anyone really understand why the Pennsylvania Society Dinner, which is annually billed as the "largest social gathering of Pennsylvania elected officials", is always held in New York City?
Couldn't some - or many - Pennsylvania business entities benefit from holding this event in different places in Pennsylvania each year?
What does it say about "Pennsylvania Society" if it has to leave Pennsylvania to have a good time?
